ABOUT US

We, Zoreh and Charlie, first came to Troncones and Manzanillo Bay in 1997. We had a wonderful stay and fell in love with the beauty and tranquility of Manzanillo Bay. Before the week was over we purchased two lots and our dream of living in this tropical area began. We started to imagine our home and studio in the years to come, getting more and more excited. The dream became reality when we started construction in October 2003. The construction was completed in November 2004. We brought our first yoga students to stay at Hacienda Eden in 1998. Each year the number of retreats has increased, and currently we are sponsoring 6 - 8 Yoga Retreats annually. Our Yoga participants love this area and particularly the community feeling that exists in Manzanillo Bay.

ABOUT YOGA DEL PACIFICO

YOGA DEL PACIFICO is your dream vacation home that is available for rental several months a year. The architecture was carefully designed to compliment the local environment. Most of the building materials came from the local area. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many varieties of tropical fruit trees and flowers. The rainbow of blooms, invites many species of birds and butterflies. Our sunsets are absolutely magnificent day-after-day. The pause to drink in these marvelous sunsets is a mandatory daily ritual. Yoga del Pacifico consists of three structures located on the Pacific Ocean and the highest beach front location on Manzanillo Bay which offers both seclusion and expansive vistas. Below are examples of some of the creatures that will keep you company while soothing flowers, plants and trees will still your inner being.

CASA BONITA

CASA BONITA consists of both the Palapa and the Master Bedroom, Generally they are rented as one unit for 4 people. However, the Palapa can be rented separately for 2 people. Palapa The Palapa is a large circular structure done with artistic and authentic design. The living area that overlooks the swimming pool is framed by picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean. The backdrop for this serene tropical setting is the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains. While retaining its indigenous character, the palapa contains a modern kitchen, full bathroom and an air-conditioned bedroom. This structure will sleep two people.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, gas stove, bread oven, Mr. Coffee, electric mixer. We use the outside wood burning oven for grilling and baking the very best pizza.	What an amazing view to enjoy while having your meals on the Palapa deck.

The pedestal table and niche provide a warm welcome and greetings to our guest. Come and enjoy.	This doorway leads to the Palapa bedroom and displays some of the eastern culture influence in our home.
It is so wonderful to be able to have a full vista of the ocean and watch the Pelicans glide past.	We enjoy the airflow that is encouraged by the double roof. The “6 pointed star” is an incredible piece of architectural desgin.
Master Bedroom Adjoining the Palapa, via a bridge, is a charming Master Bedroom and bathroom with a breathtaking view of the ocean where sunsets and moon glow bathe the bedroom and private patio. A perfect honeymoon suite! This structure will sleep two people. (See Rates and Reservations)
This is the bridge that connects Casa Bonita to the Master Bedroom.	This is the entryway from the Palapa to the Master Bedroom. You will love both the awesome wood and concrete work that was done by local Mexican craftsmen.

ESTUDIO PACIFICO

ESTUDIO PACIFICO is a combination of a one-of-a-kind yoga studio that converts (using fabric screens) into a one or two bedroom casita complete with living area, efficiency kitchen and a sculpted bathroom crafted with artistic details. Estudio Pacifico is situated for magnificent views of the ocean and mountains. Estudio Pacifico is also an ideal setting for small seminars and conferences. This structure will accomodate four people. (See Rates and Reservations)

THE STAFF AT YOGA DEL PACIFICO

Our staff consists of dedicated, joyous and talented chefs, housecleaners, caretakers and hosts.

Zoreh is the Founder and Director of High Desert Yoga Studios in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is a certified yoga instructor and has been teaching for the past 16 years. She has been conducting yoga retreats in Troncones for the past 11 years. Zoreh's joyous personality and sense of humor endear her to her students with a teaching style that is nurturing and fun. Many of the students return to Troncones year after year. At Yoga del Pacifico, she will be teaching as well as the coordinating the yoga retreats. She also conducts Yoga Retreats in Belize, Costa Rica, India and Peru.

Charlie retired five years ago after a 40 year career. During his career he worked in higher education and industry. He was a college coach and later a Dean of Students. In the industrial world he was a Director of Training and Development and a Vice President of Human Resources retiring with Lockheed Matin Corporation. At Yoga del Pacifico he manages the scheduling, rentals and logistics. He is looking forward to "practicing doing nothing."

Antonio is the proud father of Emelio and Sebastian. He is in charge of keeping the grounds beautiful. You will find him working daily with the swimming pool and general maintaince on the buildings. He is also a super chef and can prepare evening meals and special meals. Antonio and his two sons live on the property, and keep a watchful eye.

Yasmine lives in the neighboring town, Boca, and she is in charge of the daily housecleaning.

Other Service Providers

Marie lives in Lillugenia with her family. She is a wonderful massage therapist. She is the answer, after a day on the beach. Appointments can be made through Antonio. She will come to Yoga del Pacifico for your appointment. We have a massage table available for our guest.

Alejander lives in Majahua with her family. She does manicures and pedicures. Your fingers and toes will feel alive and dancing when she is finish with you. Appointments can be made through Antonio. She will come to Yoga del Pacifico for your appointment.

Services available on site for additional fees are: manicures, pedicures, massages, child care, and meal preparation for lunch and/or dinner, which can be arranged by our incredible chef, Antonio.
